Introducing Camille’s Cocktails (with a Literary twist)*

Reading and drinking are my favorite pastimes. It’s only right that I combine the two in the first edition of #CamillesCocktails #WithALiteraryTwist!

In this first edition, I reviewed Black Buck by Mateo Askaripour over a Blackberry Gin Sour. Cheers!

Blackberry-Gin Sour:

  • 1.5 oz gin
  • .5 oz lemon juice
  • .5 oz simple syrup
  • Blackberries
  • Egg White

Add blackberries and lemon juice to your shaker and muddle them together. Then add ice on top of the muddled blackberry-lemon juice mixture. Next, add the egg white to the container and shake to create foam for the drink. Next add the simple syrup. Cover with the top of the shaker and give it a second shake to mix everything together. Finally, pour the drink into the glass through a strainer. Garnish with a blackberry and enjoy!
